Another writing excercise. I actually kinda like it, but it's unusually romantic coming from me. -_- So in that sense, I don't really like it. But my friend liked it, so I decided to put it up here ^-^

“Oh? What are you doing out here?” gently asked Aria as she sat down next to her companion, her golden hair shimmering in the moon’s soothing light.
Aiden gave a slight glance to her, then continued staring out into the endless ocean.
Aria continued, “Wow…The moon’s reflection on the water is so beautiful…It’s kinda like the moon is napping in an ocean of stars, huh?”
Aiden looked over to Aria once more, and he took note of her shining eyes and her sweet smile.
Aiden blushed slightly as his and Aria’s eyes met.
Aria smiled, “…I’m really glad to have met you.”
She scooted a bit closer to him and shut her eyes as she put her head on his shoulder, “I never regretted it, not even for one moment…”
“But…I brought everyone pain…I made everyone suffer…I-”
Aiden stopped midway in his sentence, looking at Aria, who was peacefully asleep on his shoulder. Aiden smiled, even laughed a bit at her simplicity.
He slowly stopped laughing as he looked away. A sad but grateful look was reflected in his eyes.
She had accepted him.
Although he caused countless many to have so much pain, here she was, asleep on his shoulder, telling him that she was happy to have met him.
He felt a tear go down his face.
“What?…” he said as he felt his tear, “When did I?…”
After searching his heart, he realized, “I see… I’m happy. So happy…Heh…I….I haven‘t felt in a long time…” He looked over to Aria, “…Thank you.”
Aria then smiled in her sleep, as if she were responding to him.
Smiling, he looked away from Aria, and stared out once more into the ocean of stars.
